The program offers four main units:
Unit 1: Occupational Health and Safety Department
-Principles of Health and Safety Management
-Measure health and safety performance
-Key elements of health and safety systems
-The importance of human factors in reducing accidents
Unit II: Factors and hazardous substances on the workplace, and the effects of these substances on environmental health:
-Overall aspects of occupational health
-Identify the most important hazardous factors in the workplace
-Radiation (how they arise, their types, their damages, their means of prevention) and their impact on the environment, and the control of radioactivity
-Types of hazardous waste, sources produced, handling and disposal
-Air quality assessment, and environmental pollution problems
-Sources of emissions and their contribution to ambient air concentrations of pollutants
-Physical/biological/chemical risks
-Risk analysis, assessment and preventive measures
Unit 3: Safety of work equipment and working environment
-Creating a healthy working environment and ensuring the cleanliness of this environment
-Fire fighting and alarms.
-Creating appropriate safety systems, including the storage and transport of hazardous materials
-Storage, circulation and processing of hazardous materials
-Safety of equipment, equipment and machinery
-Electrical safety
-Safety guidelines in safe handling of hazardous machinery
-Wear personal protective equipment at work
-Emergency plan and emergency operating room
Unit 4: Application of occupational health and safety department
-Work duties and functions of occupational security and safety systems management
-Inspection of safety procedures and how to identify safety procedures.
